Mark Von Kaenel is the President and Managing Broker for Von Kaenel Real Estate Services.  He and his wife, Dianna, were raised in this area and are deeply invested in maintaining the vitality of Los Gatos.  Mark and Dianna have a eigth grader and a twelth grader in Los Gatos schools.  

Mark’s commitment to strong local institutions culminated in his decision to start his own real estate brokerage in 2000.  After working for a number of real estate brokerages and observing the consolidation of those businesses, he launched Von Kaenel Real Estate Services to foster the type of family feeling and customer connection he valued in smaller real estate firms.

That same appreciation of a supportive family environment drew Mark and Dianna to settle in Los Gatos and enroll their children in our public schools.  The Von Kaenels want to ensure that Los Gatos schools remain healthy institutions that nurture in every child the feeling that they are part of a community that cares.

To that end, Von Kaenel Real Estate Services has been a major supporter of LGEF for the past seven years.  In addition to contributing over $75,000 to LGEF, Mark has served as a past LGEF board member.  Mark believes that a strong education system is the foundation of a thriving community for people of all ages.  He encourages other business leaders in Los Gatos to consider a similar investment in Los Gatos schools.
